The Codfather

The Codfather is the first traditional fish and chip restaurant in Nerja and is owned by Marilyn and Terry. The restaurant offers ´proper´ fish and chips with real cod and real chips cook in a frying range. Customers have the choice to eat inside the restaurant or outside on either the front terrace or in the large garden terrace at the rear. A take-away service is also offered.

Blue Med Cafè

The Blue Med is a cafè bar in Nerja that offers very friendly services as well as great, healthy lunch time food. The menu consist of salads and sandwiches that are made with fresh ingredients to order. The cafè also has an internet connection that is cheap and easy to use.

Torrox Costa

El Chicle

El Chicle (meaning chewing gum in Spanish) was named for its unusual way of serving octopus (not too soft). The restaurant opened in 1960 is now run by the original owner´s son Miguel Bueno González, and is in fact one of the most prestigious restaurants in Torrox. The menu offers a wide range of fish and meat dishes including red prawns and ostrich steak which will make your mouth water. The restaurant can sit up to 78 people in three of its different styled rooms. El Chicle is highly recommended, as a excellent place to eat, but it can get busy so you may need to book.

El Capricho

El Capricho has amazing mountain views and offer both dinning indoors and alfresco. They are famous for their Chicken with Apples and Roast Lamb which need to be order a minimum of 3 hours in advance. Other dishes offered are sausages, entrecote, pig cutlets and grilled lamb.
